So I'm on this telecon and they're talking about GOC project milestone report. What are they talking about? =( I need to wise up a bit here. Anyway, life has been good. I can update you on the past two weeks.. Went to Yosemite last weekend with some church folk. Hiking up half dome the second time was not easier than the first! My knees are still killing me =(, but it was really great to chill and enjoy nature and stuff. The best part of the hike was wadding in the river halfway up the trail. Ahhhh, refreshing.

I've been going to a lot of old school concerts lately. I guess it's because my parents never let me go when I was younger so I'm trying to make up for lost time. Went to the Mega- Freestyle Concert last month (Johnny O, Cynthia, Expose, Cover Girls, Debbie Deb, Stevie B, Lisa Lisa, etc). Ooh, it was good sitting so close.. 11th row! I could see how all of my childhood idols had aged, some not so well (debbie deb!) =)

Then this past Thursday, I went to the Beastie Boys concert. That was pretty crazy. I was in the front row, with a crowd of 10-20 thousand behind me shoving and pushing! We almost got trampled on during Brass Monkey, but it was fun nonetheless.. =) Mix Master Mike was a great addition to the crew. He rocked the crowd big time... The only complaint is that I wish the B-boys played more of their old stuff from Licensed to Ill. I remember Pat lent me the Beastie boys tape in 6th grade, and soon after, my demise commenced. =)

Besides going deaf, I've been getting more involved with GRX. Maybe I'm trying to commit to too much church stuff. It seems like I'm saying yes to everything, but I'm not doing anything but attending meetings. But I'm down with their philosophy. The small group leaders, about 15 of us, went up to Napa this past weekend for wine tasting. then we went out to play poker at my buddy's house. good wholesome christian fun =). I lost all my money. friggin!

Good times ahead.

I'm sick again. I guess it's a sign that i should just sit and get better. but I like to play sports, work like a dog, and go out! grrr. Being sick sucks. and being at work while you're sick sucks even more.

I'm whining. Tell me to shuddup.

Current Song: Cadillac on 22s -David Banner

After work yesterday, I went to BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) with a coworker who's really excited about the club. It was ok, I just got an introduction to the course, and met some guys. The average age is probably 50-60.. not exactly the peer group I was looking for, but it could work, and most of these guys work in the peninsula like me. We'll see, I still have to check out another bible study before I make my final decision. I almost fell asleep during the lecture. I need to get more sleep. I swear every night that the following day I'll move my tv out of my room, but it just doesn't happen. Doh! TV is so bad.

Tonight, watching Passion for the Christ.. Heard Roger Ebert say it was the most violent movie he has ever seen. That scares me because that guy has probably watched every movie ever ever made. He still gave it 4 stars and said it was great... Good. Hope I dont' fall asleep watching it, it starts at 10pm tonight. yeesh.

Ok, Back to the grind. The rain has finally cleared away, I want to go snowboarding right now!!!!! After this storm clears, it's going to be awesome! Mike, wax your skis and get in shape, we're headed up Sat!!!!

Current Song: My Immortal - Evanescence

Last night I turned on the tv to "Trauma Unit" on the Discovery channel. This really young guy, probably my age, fell off some ladder and landed on his head, breaking his spinal cord. It was really excrutiating watching him start to panic and lose his breath with anxiety as they strapped him to the operating table.. He ultimately lost function below his arms and what he could do with arms will be limited. Here was a guy who had a tattoo on his shoulder and seemed like a real tough guy, but now lay helpless and will be disabled for the rest of his life just because of a freak accident. That really made me think of how we often times take our lives and basic abilities for granted. My biggest nightmare is falling off my motorcycle, hitting a tree or car, and becoming paralysed... (Ok, ok, that's my second biggest nightmare.. my first one is being sent to prison and dropping my soap in the shower! =O )

I'll still ride my sportbike, and I'll continue to ride it like I stole it, that's something I love to do. Maybe I'm foolish to think that the bad accident every rider experiences will skip me, like passover. Maybe I need to give it up before I really hurt myself. But I do know that nobody will be able to tell me to stop riding just because they think or heard it's dangerous. So ha. =)

Well, the whole point is that I do love life, I want to live life to it's fullest, and gosh, I really appreciate God's goodness to me... But will I be like Job and still praise God if bad things happen to me? I don't know, that's just a test that I hope I pass when the time comes. And I'm sure it's coming...
